UTAH TRIP 2006

ZION & BRYCE NATIONAL PARKS

In early October, we flew to Lost Wages (Los Vegas) where we met up

with Dave, Emily, and Pat, who flew in from Dayton. We drove to

Springdale, Utah (Zion). The first day, we did the Watchman trail and

the Emerald Pools trail. The second day, we drove a couple hours east

to the Wave. The third day, we did Court of the Patriarchs and Angel's

Landing. Day four, we did the Narrows, and day five we did Weeping

Rock, The Organ, and the Temple of Sinawava.

Day six, we drove a couple hours north to Bryce Canyon. We arrived in

heavy fog. It was mid-afternoon and since we couldn't see anything, we

drank a lot.....

The next day, we did the grand tour of Bryce Canyon, taking close to 400

pictures between us.
