# Umpqua Valley Tennis Center

> Umpqua Valley Tennis Center, commonly called UVTC, is a public tennis and pickleball facility in Roseburg, Oregon.

## Facility

UVTC is located at 1201 NW Stewart Parkway, Roseburg, Oregon 97471.

The facility offers:
- Five indoor and eight outdoor tennis courts
- Four indoor and 10 outdoor pickleball courts
- Indoor and outdoor year-round play
- A pro shop, locker rooms and court-viewing areas

## Programs

UVTC offers junior and adult tennis, pickleball instruction, clinics, facilitated open play, leagues, social activities and tournaments. Programs serve beginners, recreational players and competitive athletes. Participation opportunities are available to both members and nonmembers.

## History

UVTC began in 1959 with six public outdoor tennis courts built in Stewart Park. The facility later expanded with additional outdoor courts, indoor courts and supporting facilities.

In 2026, UVTC and the City of Roseburg completed a $2.53 million renovation of the outdoor complex. The project created eight tennis courts and 10 dedicated pickleball courts with new lighting, fencing, seating, entry access and security improvements.
